CAREing Paws

IT’S A DOG THING!!

Would your children like to share their storybooks with a warm, fuzzy, caring, loving, attentive and non-judemental listener? Well, now they can!

The CAREing Paws reading dogs are at the Nola Brantley Memorial and the Centerville Public Libraries on certain Saturdays, and they are ready to listen tostories and learn new words from readers in the 1st through 5th grades. Any reading level is welcome!!

Many children who read to a therapy dog improve their reading and comprehension skills, testing scores, increase their desire to read, and even improve in confidence and self esteem.

For the Nola Brantley Library, please call the Children’s Librarian to sign up if your child is interested in reading to the therapy dogs: 478-923-0128.

For the Centerville Public Library, you can sign your child up at the CAREing Paws display board in the children’s section of the library.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call Patti @ 478-320-3676 or send an email to Patti@careingpaws.org
