How do I access a public computer?
You can use a PINES library card to log on or request a guest pass.
How long do I have on the computer?
You have 1 hour guaranteed, with additional time possible if computers are available. However, the library may impose time limits to ensure equitable access. If you are taking a test and need more time, please visit the circulation desk first.
Can I print from the computers?
Printing is available for 15 cents per black and white page, and 50 cents per color page.
Do you have notary or proctor services?
Yes—Call your branch for more details.
Does the library have Wi-Fi?
All three Houston County Public Libraries have Wi-Fi. Please ask a staff member for the network name and password.
What kinds of programs does the library offer?
We offer a variety of programs for all ages. Please visit the Programs/Events page on houpl.org for dates and times.
Can I donate books/magazines/movies/CDs?
You may drop off donations at any of the 3 library branches. The Friends of the Library sell donated materials at the Old Book Sale and proceeds go to the library.
Can I reserve a meeting or study spaces?

The spaces are free to use, but food and drink are not permitted.

Each library has a meeting room. You may call each branch or view the meeting room calendar on houpl.org to check availability.

There are also quiet study rooms at the Nola Brantley Memorial Branch.
