About Us
Houston Friends of the Library gave the Houston County Library System the sum of $40,000 in 2023. This brings the total amount given since 2005 to $501,950.91; over half a million dollars!
These donations are used to purchase of books, audio books, materials and children’s programing.
Thank you Houston Friends of the Library!
Friends of the Library are accepting book and media donations. Please place items in the outside book bins at each library branch or inside the library if you have a large donation. Make arrangements with library staff to meet a Friends volunteer at their book storage building at 1834 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins if your donation is exceptionally large.

Support the Houston County Friends of the Library by:

  • Donating gently used books at any Houston County Library branch
  • Buying used books and media from Lobby Sales at all library branches
  • Volunteering to work at the annual Old Book Sale
