Georgia’s public libraries provide $732.8 million in state economic impact

Georgia’s libraries impact our community’s lives in some many ways. Thanks to a report completed by Georgia Public Library Services and the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, we now have proof of how libraries provide much more than just books.

For every $1 invested in Georgia’s public libraries, the community gains $3.21 in goods and services plus indirect economic benefit.
